Armenia highly values the centuries-old friendship of the Armenian and Syrian peoples

The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar Al-Assad, on the National Day of Syria. The message says:

"In Armenia, the centuries-old friendship of the Armenian and Syrian peoples, reinforced by many examples of mutual aid, is highly valued. I fully hope that the people of Syria, thanks to their endurance and patience, will overcome the current crisis and start rebuilding the country.

I wish you good health, success, peace, and stability to the friendly people of Syria."
