According to the governor's office, on March 29, 2023, a cooperation agreement was signed between Syunik and the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region of France, which envisages cooperation in the fields of health, agriculture, education, tourism, and the promotion of francophone.
"Further cooperation and the projects and investments to be implemented are planned in the mentioned areas," said the Syunik regional administration.
