Hayk Konjoryan called on international partners to increase pressure on Azerbaijan
Hayk Konjoryan, head of the NA "Civil Contract" faction, wrote on his Facebook page.
"As the head of the Armenia-USA friendship group, today I sent letters to the members of the US House of Representatives, the co-chairs of the US Armenian Committee, Gus Bilirakis, Frank Pallone, David Valadao, as well as the vice-chairman of the committee, Adam Schiff.
As the head of the Armenia-Greece friendship group, I addressed a letter to the head of the Greece-Armenia friendship group Dimitrios Markopoulos.
As the chairman of the inter-parliamentary commission on cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, I addressed a letter to my colleague from Cyprus, Harris Georgeades.
I have presented details regarding another provocation and harassment carried out by the representatives of the armed forces of Azerbaijan on April 11 in the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia. I have presented facts regarding the illegalities and criminal activities of Azerbaijanis.
I called on my colleagues to make all the necessary efforts and increase the international pressure on Azerbaijan to curb its aggressive actions and prevent possible escalation in our region."
