Lilit Makunts discussed the possibilities of establishing economic and trade relations between Armenia and the state of Utah

The Embassy of Armenia in the USA informs that on April 6-7, at the invitation of the Utah World Trade Center, Lilit Makunts, the Ambassador of Armenia to the USA, was on a two-day working visit to Salt Lake City (such visits are regularly organized for ambassadors accredited to the USA).

The purpose of the visit was to highlight the possibilities of establishing Armenia-Utah economic and trade relations, to present the priorities of Armenia's economy, and to outline other directions of bilateral cooperation.

During the visit, Ambassador Makunts had meetings with Deputy Governor of Utah Deidre Henderson, Senator Curtis Bramble, a representative of the state legislature, visited the Utah World Trade Center, had a meeting-discussion with business circles, representatives of the Armenian community, participated in the discussion of women leaders at the Kem Gardner Policy Development Institute of the University of Utah, got acquainted with the possibilities of the state's high-tech sector, and met with the president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Utah, Russell Nelson.
