Azerbaijan carried out another invasion of the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Nagorno-Karabakh (VIDEO)
"Azerbaijan not only continues to block the Lachin Corridor illegally but also made another incursion into the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Nagorno-Karabakh." RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at today's government session.
According to him, the fact of the invasion was also recorded by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation with an official message. "Thus, we can record that Azerbaijan not only does not comply with the decision of the International Court of Justice on February 22 to remove the illegal blocking of the Lachin Corridor but also aggravates the situation by taking steps to block the internal transport communication of Nagorno Karabakh. From the height of 20/54, the Azerbaijani side directly observed the dirt road connecting Stepanakert, Old Shen, Mets Shen, and several other villages."
Referring to Azerbaijan's statements that RA is transporting military cargo through that route, Pashinyan said. "This is completely untrue information." According to him, that information is a propaganda lie, the purpose of which is to create legitimacy for a possible escalation. "The Republic of Armenia does not carry out military transports to the Nagorno-Karabakh; Armenia does not have an army in the Nagorno-Karabakh," Pashinyan emphasized.
