Blinken thanked Pashinyan for Armenia's continued commitment to peace

During a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called for "concrete steps" to solve the problems in negotiations with Baku.

According to the Ministry of State press service, during the conversation, Blinken offered further support to the USA to facilitate the bilateral peace negotiations with Azerbaijan.

"Secretary Blinken thanked Prime Minister Pashinyan for Armenia's continued commitment to peace and called for concrete steps to be taken to resolve the unresolved issues," the message said.

It is noted that Blinken confirmed that the US supports direct negotiations and diplomacy in the South Caucasus to maintain stable peace and emphasized that there is no military solution.
