"We started the process of ratifying the Rome Statute 2-3 months ago," Alain Simonyan

NA Speaker Alen Simonyan referred to the discussion of the Rome Statute in the RA CC and its ratification by Armenia. He noted that RA started ratifying that agreement two or three months before the Hague court's decision.
"Now there is no problem of need arising; we started this process early, before this decision of the Hague court. RA has people, and RA needs this decision to join this agreement. As for the CC, I cannot predict what decision the CC will make."
It should be noted that the Hague Court decided to arrest the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and this decision applies to all countries that have ratified the Rome Statute.
