RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to yesterday's telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Prime Minister disclosed some details from yesterday's conversation. "Our discussion yesterday with the President of the Russian Federation was mainly devoted to the danger of escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh. I just passed on my information and my impressions. I also emphasized that there are problems with the responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Nagorno-Karabakh.
For me, the most critical issue in the context of Armenia-Russia relations is that something unexpected happened in Nagorno-Karabakh when a protest action of Nagorno-Karabakh residents took place in front of the headquarters of the Russian peacekeeping force; this happened after the murders of police officers.
It also happened in Nagorno-Karabakh in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces. I considered it necessary to convey these concerns to the President of the Russian Federation."
