"Now the possibility of escalation along the border of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh is very high," announced RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
He noted that his conclusion is based on the increasingly aggressive rhetoric of Azerbaijan, "There are also certain other data," Pashinyan said. The Prime Minister reminded Azerbaijan's rhetoric increased before and after the war.
He also spoke about restraint mechanisms, "It is not RA that initiates aggressive actions and escalation, which is why RA decided to invite EU observers."
Pashinyan reminded that before and after the 2020 war, Azerbaijan explained any escalation by RA actions, "Understanding that we also receive questions from our EU partners, we said we don't mind if you send observers and don't need to rely on our information."
The Prime Minister stressed that the international community should note that the risk of a new escalation is very high.
