Hikmet Hajiyev, the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, announced that the rights and security of Armenians living in Karabakh is an internal matter of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan will not discuss issues related to its sovereignty with other parties, including the Republic of Armenia.
"The Karabakh conflict has been resolved; Karabakh is the territory of Azerbaijan; for Azerbaijan, the Karabakh issue is off the international agenda.
The Constitution and laws of Azerbaijan will determine the rights and security of Armenians living in Karabakh. Special privileges are not expected for Armenian residents," said the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan.
