The US Embassy in Armenia reports that Kristina Kvien, the US ambassador to Armenia, visited the beginning of the Lachin Corridor, which has been closed to regular traffic for about three months.
The governor of Syunik, Robert Ghukasyan, presented to Ambassador Quinn the consequences of the blockade of the Lachin Corridor and its impact on hundreds of separated families. Governor Ghukasyan also referred to the support provided by the state to the victims of the blockade.
Ambassador Kvien reiterated Secretary of State Blinken's call for the immediate reopening of the Lachin Corridor.
