Azerbaijan is trying to divert the attention of the international community with such "noisy revelations," RA MFA

RA MFA stated Azerbaijani disinformation, which specifically states,

"On March 7, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan spread another message to mislead the international community, as if on the same day, a convoy of military equipment of the RA Armed Forces accompanied by Russian peacekeepers passed the Stepanakert-Ghaibalishen-Lisagor road that allegedly the same day the RA Armed Forces personnel transportation.

We officially emphasize that this information is entirely false, does not have and cannot have any factual basis, and does not correspond to reality.

Azerbaijan tries diverting the international community's attention with such "noisy revelations."

1. Due to the terrorist activities carried out by its armed forces on March 5, three employees of the passport service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Internal Affairs police were killed, and one employee was injured.

2. About the Lachin Corridor, because he did not comply with the legally binding decision of the International Court of Justice and kept the Lachin Corridor closed in defiance of that decision,

3. 2020, with the tripartite declaration of November 9, from not fulfilling its international obligations regarding the Lachin Corridor.

To divert the attention of the international community from these apparent facts, Azerbaijan has adopted a practice of disinformation and increasing tension, trying to create false information bases for launching new aggression against Nagorno Karabakh and also against the Republic of Armenia. Moreover, to "justify" this policy, Azerbaijan continues presenting Armenia in the West as extremely pro-Russian and Russia as highly pro-Western.

Armenia has repeatedly stated that no munitions or military goods were transported through the Lachin Corridor before its blockade and in 2022 after December 12. Furthermore, we reaffirm that the Republic of Armenia does not have an army in Nagorno-Karabakh. The proposal to send an international fact-finding mission to Nagorno-Karabakh to verify the authenticity of this information was repeatedly rejected by the top leadership of Azerbaijan itself.

Reaffirming Armenia's desire to achieve peace in the region, we once again emphasize the need for the immediate dispatch of an international fact-finding mission to Nagorno-Karabakh and the Lachin Corridor to prevent the unleashing of new aggression by Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan's apparent preparations to subject the people of Nagorno-Karabakh to ethnic cleansing and genocide."
