The RA Foreign Ministry described the Azerbaijani actions as terrorism

As a result of the sabotage attack carried out by the armed forces of Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh on March 5, three officers of the passport and visa department of the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Internal Affairs were killed, and one was injured.

The facts prove that this is a provocation pre-planned and instructed by the top leadership of Azerbaijan. After the incident, the official bodies of Azerbaijan spread that they allegedly received operational information that weapons, ammunition, and personnel were being transferred from Armenia to Nagorno Karabakh and implemented this operational information.

The official version put forward by Azerbaijan is absurd. They did not present and cannot give any facts and justifications to prove that hypothesis. This comes less than two weeks after the International Court of Justice ruled that Azerbaijan's absurd claims about alleged landmines by Armenia were rejected.

The video in the hands of the Nagorno-Karabakh police proves that the Azerbaijani subversive group attacked the "UAZ" minibus, in which four employees of the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Internal Affairs, who were on their way from Stepanakert to the Nagorno-Karabakh villages of Hin Shen and Mets Shen. Moreover, the videos prove nothing else in "UAZ" except service documents and a small weapon.

It is impossible to describe the actions of the Azerbaijani subversive group as something other than terrorism. Parallel to the actions aimed at blocking the Lachin Corridor and creating a humanitarian disaster in Nagorno-Karabakh for almost three months, Azerbaijan continues terrorizing the Armenian population of Artsakh with the ultimate goal of ethnic cleansing by creating inhumane conditions for living in their homeland.

It is worth noting that after the UN International Court of Justice on February 22 granted the request to apply an interim measure submitted by Armenia against Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani side not only did not take steps towards the implementation of the legally binding decision of the court but also started to attack the Armenians of Artsakh new crimes against the population, including civilians.

On February 28, the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire on a resident of the Murishen, Martunu region of Artsakh, who was doing agricultural work. The Azerbaijani armed forces also violated the cease-fire on the night of March 2 and March 2-3 from the territories under Azerbaijani control in the Askeran, Martakert, and Martun regions.

The mentioned actions of Azerbaijan are a practical denial of Baku's sincerity regarding establishing peace and stability in the region. This once again shows the need for guarantees of the rights and security of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh and the need for international involvement in them.

The Republic of Armenia calls on the international community, countries, and international organizations interested in the establishment of real peace in our region to strongly condemn Azerbaijan's use of force and the threat of power, as well as the repeated manifestation of provoking large-scale military operations, and to take active steps to exclude further violations of its international obligations by Azerbaijan. Direction.

Under the circumstances, sending an international fact-finding team to the Lachin Corridor and Nagorno-Karabakh becomes a vital necessity.
