Mirzoyan and Lavrov emphasized the necessity of fulfilling the agreements reached
The RA Foreign Ministry informs that RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who is in New Delhi, met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on March 3 within the framework of the "Raisina Dialogue" forum.
The interlocutors exchanged views on regional security and stability issues.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh due to Azerbaijan's blocking of the Lachin Corridor and electricity failure. It emphasized the need to fulfill the agreements reached and unblock the Lachin Corridor, promising to follow the 2020 deadline to the obligations assumed by the tripartite declaration of November 9.
The interlocutors touched on issues related to the regulation of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, border demarcation and security, unblocking all economic and transport links in the region, and the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers also touched on other issues of bilateral interest.
