Pashinyan and Guterres discussed issues related to sending a UN mission to the Nagorno-Karabakh and Lachin Corridor
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. The interlocutors touched upon the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor in Nagorno Karabakh and its overcoming issues.
In particular, issues related to sending Nagorno Karabakh and Lachin corridors were discussed. Both sides stressed the need to unblock the Lachin hall Azerbaijan and the importance of its uninterrupted activity. An agreement was reached to continue discussions on the issue of sending a UN mission. Antonio Guterres noted that the case would keep the attention of attention.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the decision of the UN International Court of Justice to meet Armenia's demand on the unblocking of the Lachin corridor. The interlocutors exchanged views on normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and protecting the rights of the Nagorno-Karabakh people.
