Actions of Azerbaijan to mislead the international community were recorded (VIDEO)

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the decision of the UN International Court of Justice regarding the closure of the Lachin Corridor, by which Armenia's claim against Azerbaijan was satisfied.

Nikol Pashinyan described that decision as "extremely important." "The International Court of Justice recorded that the Lachin Corridor has been closed since December 12, 2022. This may seem like a strange record to our public in the sense that the closure of the Lachin Corridor is obvious to all of us, but Azerbaijan insisted in all international instances that it is not closed. With this, Azerbaijan's practice of misleading the international community was recorded, and the world's highest court recorded this."

Pashinyan noted that with this, Azerbaijan's responsibility regarding the closure of the Lachin Corridor was also recorded, "The court reaffirmed RA's position that according to the tripartite declaration of November 9, 2020, the Lachin Corridor should not be under the control of Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijan should, with the same document, guarantee the safe movement of citizens, vehicles, and cargo through the Lachin Corridor from Nagorno-Karabakh to RA and from RA to Nagorno-Karabakh ".

According to Pashinyan, the court also clearly recorded the existence of the Nagorno-Karabakh entity by the tripartite declaration of November 9, 2020, according to which the given the word and its provisions, including Nagorno-Karabakh and the presence of the contact line, were given international legal significance.
