The Foreign Minister referred to the prospects of Armenian-French cooperation

On February 21, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan received the delegation led by the former Prime Minister of France, Mayor of Havre, and President of Havre Sena Metropolis, Edouard Philippe, which includes parliamentarians and public and political figures.

The interlocutors noted with satisfaction that the privileged relations between Armenia and France are characterized by a high-level political dialogue and an expanding multi-sector bilateral agenda and reflected on the prospects of Armenian-French cooperation.

Issues of regional security and stability were on the agenda of the meeting.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia highly appreciated the specific evaluations and efforts made by the French side, including the members of the delegation, at various levels and formats, aimed at establishing peace in the South Caucasus and addressing the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.

The parties also highlighted the deployment of the new EU civilian monitoring mission in Armenia.
