Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan participated in the event organized on the National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, during which he sent a congratulatory message. The Deputy Prime Minister specifically said:

By establishing the rule of the people, the Islamic Revolution has contributed to Iran's unique reputation both in the region and beyond.

Armenian and Iranian peoples, living in the same region, are interconnected by strong historical and cultural threads. From early times, close cultural relations have been formed between our two peoples, which continue to be a unique feature of the lifestyle, behavior, and manners of both Armenians and Iranians, as well as their many ancestors and rich cultural heritage.

Our two countries, having passed through many centuries of history and various trials, present themselves today as states cooperating with an exemplary dialogue between Christianity and Islam and in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust.

Dear attendees, the Islamic Republic of Iran was one of the first in the world to recognize the independence of the Republic of Armenia. And we can report with great joy that our relations have been on an upward development during the past 31 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations. Armenia-Iran relations are still developing dynamically today, and we fully hope that with joint efforts, we will further expand the agenda of interaction between the two countries.

Our vision of the future of relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran is best reflected in the 2021-2026 Government of the Republic of Armenia. In the program. We sincerely hope the high-level political dialogue between the two countries will be an excellent stimulus for further deepening and strengthening bilateral cooperation.

A multi-sectoral cooperation agenda has been established between Armenia and Iran. As a result of joint efforts, we will be able to expand interstate cooperation shortly to benefit the well-being of the two friendly peoples and strengthen regional stability.
