The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India to the Republic of Armenia Kishan Dan Deval. Welcoming the guest, Alen Simonyan noted that although the ambassador's diplomatic mission in the Republic of Armenia is coming to an end, the result of his consistent work is continuous.
"The Republic of Armenia values and highly values the friendly relations with India and is deeply interested in deepening the relations in all spheres," said the Speaker of the RA National Assembly.
The ambassador expressed his gratitude for the cooperation, noting that he brings friendship, warm memories, and a rich history from Armenia and the Armenian people to his country and his people.
At the end of the meeting, RA NA Speaker emphasized that India, as an influential member of the international community, has a vital role in global and regional issues. He expressed his belief that there is much to be done jointly in this context in the inter-parliamentary format.
