Klaar expressed his concerns about the situation around the Lachin Corridor

On January 23, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received Toivo Klaar, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Georgia crisis. Ambassador Andrea Victorin, the head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, also participated in the meeting.
Toivo Klaar expressed his concerns about the situation around the Lachine Corridor. The sides discussed the latest regional developments. The interlocutors expressed hope that a decision will be made at the meeting of the EU Foreign Ministers' Committee on implementing a new EU civilian observation mission in the territory of Armenia.
