The Eurasian Department of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs issued a statement that states explicitly:
"On January 17, at the meeting of the OSCE Special Council, Switzerland expressed its concern about the ongoing obstacles to access through the Lachine Corridor and the resulting humanitarian consequences. The free movement of civilians and essential goods must be restored immediately."
