Hayk Konjoryan called on the members of the US House of Representatives to increase the pressure on Azerbaijan
Hayk Konjoryan, head of the "Civil Contract" faction of the RA NA and leader of the Armenia-US friendship group, sent letters today to the members of the US House of Representatives, the co-chairs of the US Armenian Committee, Gus Bilirakis, Frank Pallone, and David Valadao, as well as the vice-chairman of the committee, Adam Schiff.
"As the head of the Armenia-Greece friendship group, I addressed a letter to the head of the Greece-Armenia friendship group Dimitrios Markopoulos, as the chairman of the inter-parliamentary commission on cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, I addressed a letter to my colleague from Cyprus, Harris Georgeades.
I presented details about Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor and the criminal policy of creating a humanitarian crisis in Artsakh.
I called on my colleagues to make all the necessary efforts and increase the international pressure on Azerbaijan to open the Lachin Corridor a day earlier and fulfill its international obligations," he informed.
