Political statements that make the situation even more impasse-like should be avoided. Nikol Pashinyan

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the disruptions in electricity supply from RA to Nagorno-Karabakh at the government meeting.

According to him, the failure occurred in the territory under the control of Azerbaijan, "Until this moment, neither the relevant services of Nagorno-Karabakh nor the peacekeepers have been allowed to carry out rehabilitation works, nor is there any information about the implementation of rehabilitation works or their progress."

According to Pashinyan, as a result of all this, new problems have appeared: fan shutdowns have started because the local capacities are insufficient, "My assessment remains the same. Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor aims to break the will of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians to live in their homeland, but I believe this will is unbreakable."

The Prime Minister noted that it is necessary to understand how this situation should be resolved, "The reaction of the NK people and the government should also be asymmetrical. What does this mean? First, we should face the developments of the last years, their deep meanings and reasons, in such a way that our evaluations of events and situations should be factual. In this regard, first, we should refrain from Political statements that make the situation even more impasse-like because words not accompanied by clear ideas of reaching the endpoint do not benefit. And then, a political conversation between Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh should begin. Our partners in Nagorno-Karabakh should not allow anyone to accuse them of disrupting or making a constructive discussion impossible."

According to Nikol Pashinyan, the closure of the Lachin Corridor is a provocation, the ultimate goal of which is a new military escalation, and steps that are desirable for those developing the military escalation scenario should not be implemented.
