RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that there has not been any official proposal to join the Union State of Armenia and there cannot be. According to him, the reality is not as simple as it seems, "I can say something else. for us, in general, the sovereignty, independence, and statehood of RA are absolute values, and we consider it our duty and mission to do everything to perpetuate the statehood of our state, our homeland.“
To the question, whether there were offers to join the Union State through unofficial channels or even pressures, the Prime Minister answered, "Unofficial channel, whatever you mean. For example, the conversation continuously developed by experts can be considered informal, and informal contacts can also be considered.”
