The Minister of Foreign Affairs highly appreciated the role of the EU technical assessment group in preventing new aggressions against Armenia

On January 9, the RA Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ararat Mirzoyan, received the members of the EU technical assessment group headed by Marchin Vidra. The team was sent to Armenia to consider deploying a new EU civilian mission. Andrea Victorin, the head of the EU delegation in Armenia, also participated in the meeting.
The parties referred to the work of the EU observation mission that ended on December 19. In this context, Minister Mirzoyan highly appreciated the role of the observation mission in strengthening stability in the region and preventing new aggressions against Armenia and expressed readiness to continue cooperation. Several issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
