And so, the first meeting of 2022 was on February 4, when the remote meeting of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev took place with the mediation and participation of French President Emmanuel Macron and European Council President Charles Michel.
Within the framework of the meeting, the parties exchanged ideas on the solution to the existing humanitarian problems, the unblocking of regional infrastructures under the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the two countries, the reduction of tension and border demarcation in the RA-AS border zone, the exit of Nagorno Karabakh international organizations, as well as a wide range of issues.
