The RA government will allocate AMD 5 billion to the FFA

On December 29, the session of the RA Government took place, during which a decision was made to allocate 2.5 billion to the Football Federation of Armenia. AMD for the implementation of the football infrastructure development program in Armenia.

For the first time in the history of Armenian football, such a large-scale joint program will be implemented, which will undoubtedly give new impetus to the development of football in Armenia.

Within six months after the entry into force of this decision, the Football Federation of Armenia must submit to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia the budget documents justifying the cost of the project mentioned above. The remaining 2.5 billion. AMD will be allocated to FFA after the approval of documents.

The need for the project stems from the FFA's 2023-2024 "Construction of football schools in three regions of Armenia and Yerevan" program and the FFA's 2019-2025. strategy, and the need to promote and regulate football in Armenia.

To develop football infrastructure in Armenia, it is planned to build 4 football schools with artificial or natural playing fields, necessary adjacent buildings, and closed gymnasiums in the Davitashen administrative district of Yerevan city, in Ararat, Gegharkunik and Tavush regions of RA.
