As a result of ANIF's three-year activity, 214 million dollars were invested in Armenia

The State Interests Fund of Armenia (ANIF) summarizes the results of the programs implemented in 2022.

One of the two major investment projects of strategic importance, Fly Arna, the Armenian national airline jointly operated by ANIF and Air Arabia, started working flights in July this year. In this short period, the airline already operates flights to 5 destinations. Next year, it is planned to expand the geography of the flights, including the European destination.

Preparations for the construction of the "Aig-1" photovoltaic plant jointly by ANIF and the Arab Masdar company are in progress. The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) works for the construction of the station will be completed soon, after which it is a plan to announce a tender for the construction of the station.

With the participation of ANIF's subsidiary company, "Entrepreneur+state" investment fund, in total, seven investment projects are already being implemented, of which the "Hard Rock Cafe Yerevan" project, implemented jointly with "Food Republic" company, started in July this year, accepting the first visitors—and becoming one of the favorite places of Armenians and tourists. This year two more new project contracts were signed in the field of agriculture. As a result of joint projects with "Eco Fresh Mushrooms" and "K&G" companies, high-quality Armenian mushrooms and strawberries will expand export markets.

All ANIF joint programs and partners submitted and paid a total of about 470 million drams in taxes and state duties from the beginning of the cooperation until the end of the third quarter of 2022 for the 3-12 months of their activity. All programs together contributed to creating and maintaining around 800 jobs in 2021-2022.

As a result of the three-year activity of ANIF, thanks to joint programs, a total of 214 million dollars was invested in various sectors of the Armenian economy, 91% of which was contributed by partners and 9% by ANIF.

At the end of this year, ANIF's ARFI (Armenia Financed) crowdfunding platform was launched, which will provide an opportunity to attract investments from all over the world in Armenia, in private businesses and new startup projects.

Several new projects are planned to be launched in the coming year.
