The Russian peacekeeping force is also not fulfilling the obligation recorded in the tripartite statement. Prime Minister (VIDEO)

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the closure of the Lachin Corridor at the government meeting, stressing that the crisis has not been resolved.

He stated that the humanitarian situation remains extremely tense as a result of the closure of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan. There is a shortage of several goods, "Azerbaijan's actions to close the Lachin Corridor are illegal and grossly violate their international obligations, in particular, the provisions of the tripartite declaration of November 9, 2020."

The Prime Minister quoted the 6th point of the tripartite statement, stressing that it is not implemented, "De facto, it turns out that the obligation recorded in the tripartite declaration, to keep the Lachin Corridor under control, is not fulfilled by the Russian peacekeeping troops either. Of course, something like this happens due to Azerbaijan's illegal actions, but this does not change the situation because the presence of the Russian peacekeeping troops is to prevent such illegality from happening and to control the Lachin Corridor."
