Referring to the discussions of the UN Security Council session, NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan drew attention to the fact that essential UN Security Council members called for the Lachin corridor's immediate opening.
According to him, it is the result of extensive work, "We will do everything so that our brothers and sisters can travel through that corridor as soon as possible, and the right to transport cargo will be restored."
To the question: Does the UN Security Council, in addition to making a statement, have effective mechanisms to force Azerbaijan to open the corridor? Arshakyan answered that the UN Security Council could adopt a resolution and apply different political tools, "We must do everything so that this toolkit is used in its entirety."
