Alen Simonyan negatively assessed the speech of the Russian representative at the UN

Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan negatively assessed the speech of the Russian representative Vasiliy Nebenzia at the UN Security Council session.

He says, "I evaluate the speech negatively because the ally could have addressed it much more; it was done by countries that do not have close ties with Armenia. Either he can't, or he doesn't want to, or he can't and doesn't want to."

"The recent events showed that there might be a response from the Russian side and an assessment. Perhaps because it is the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers, they want not to take too much burden on themselves."

Simonyan noted that Azerbaijan had reached a dead end due to its actions today, "Azerbaijan did not expect such a reaction. We will continue to work in this direction with all possible means available to Armenia, which will not involve Armenia in another process."
