RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan referred to the consequences of closing the Lachin Corridor.
"Unfortunately, people in the civilized world are deprived of the fundamental right to be healthy, to receive timely medical care. It is with pain that I speak about the death of a 44-year-old man in Artsakh under the blockade. I express my condolences to the family and relatives.
Currently, there are patients in extremely critical condition in Artsakh whose transportation is impossible due to the road closure. Due to the humanitarian crisis created by Azerbaijan, every minute can cost a human life," she wrote on her Twitter microblog.
