Til Mansman, a member of the Free Democrats party of the German Bundestag and president of the Armenian-German Forum, wrote on his Twitter page that using environmental activists as an excuse to violate human rights is pure cynicism.
"Depriving thousands of people of energy and food in the middle of winter means using gas and food as weapons. Germany and the EU should increase the pressure," he wrote.
