Acting Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan received the delegation led by the Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Natia Natsvlishvili.
During the meeting, the UNDP support arising from the human rights protection strategy for 2023-2025 was discussed within the framework of the EU-funded project "Accountable Institutions and Human Rights Protection in Armenia." issues related to the development of the action plan, police, and constitutional reforms, and the coordinating role of the Ministry in the field of public administration reforms.
During the meeting, Grigor Minasyan emphasized the issues related to the systemic work aimed at police reforms, highlighting the reform of the police education system and the creation of a new Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Several issues related to the advancement of constitutional reforms, expanding the rights and opportunities of national stakeholders, and providing expert advice and best practices were also presented at the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen further and deepen the existing cooperation and take steps to outline new initiatives.
