The USA should curb Azerbaijan's aggression against Artsakh and Armenia by starting to implement the 907th resolution; Brad Sherman

US Congressman Brad Sherman stated the situation surrounding the Lachin Corridor and called on the US to curb Azerbaijan's aggression against Armenia and Artsakh, starting with the implementation of Resolution 907.

"I am deeply disturbed by reports of a humanitarian disaster in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) due to Azerbaijan's continuous and unrelenting campaign against the Armenian people.

It is reported that Azerbaijan has blocked the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the principal means by which food, medical supplies, and other vital resources are transported to the region. As a result, the lives of 120,000 Armenians in Artsakh and the prospect of peace in the region continue to be in grave danger.

The international community must unequivocally condemn this blatant provocation and take all necessary steps to support the Armenian people in this crisis. The United States, in particular, should be a leader in this effort, taking tangible steps to curb Azerbaijan's aggression against Artsakh and Armenia by implementing Resolution 907.

This is another painful moment for the Armenian community as it faces Azerbaijan's 2020. of non-stop aggression after the war. However, I have personally seen the resilience and determination of the Armenian people, and I will always support the people of Armenia and Artsakh as we continue to fight together to end the attacks on Armenia and Artsakh," the congressman said in a statement.
