The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh cannot be called anything other than a humanitarian crisis. Pashinyan (VIDEO)

The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh cannot be called anything other than a humanitarian crisis. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at today's government session. According to him, this crisis was caused by Azerbaijan's failure to fulfill its international obligations. "Closing the Lachin Corridor is a direct and gross violation by Azerbaijan of the tripartite declaration of November 9, 2020, on the simple grounds that according to point 6 of the said declaration, the Lachin Corridor is under the control of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Nagorno-Karabakh, and Azerbaijan guarantees citizens, traffic safety of vehicles and cargo".

Pashinyan noted that the signature of the President of Azerbaijan is also placed under that statement. According to him, violations of the tripartite declaration's provisions by Azerbaijan are chronic.
