RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, referring to the situation in Artsakh, stated that they are using all the channels to make it possible to transport patients to Yerevan, "We are in direct contact with the hospital and the Ministry of Health. With joint efforts, we are trying to do our best to keep patients in critical condition stable and, when the situation is resolved, to transfer them to Yerevan minutes earlier."
Speaking about the stocks of medicines and medical supplies, Avanesyan noted that they are used rationally and directed only in the necessary directions, "Using resources sparingly is important so they can last as long as possible."
Before that, according to Anahit Avanesyan, they turned to international structures and used all channels to make it possible to transfer patients from Artsakh to Yerevan. She noted that they have yet to receive an answer from the WHO, "But we do not expect a written answer, but steps."
The minister also reminded us that the only road with Artsakh was closed, "It is the way of life by which goods, medicines, and medical supplies should be delivered daily. This situation cannot last long."
