"According to the information we have, Russia is also preparing to make a similar statement, which the Armenian people have been waiting for a long time from their ally. Let's hope that this time our colleagues will not disappoint us", said the Chairman of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan in the National Assembly.
According to Simonyan, regardless of whether Armenia is currently satisfied with the mandate of the Russian peacekeepers or not, the current situation shows once again that peacekeeping forces are needed in Artsakh.
"Perhaps we should consider the issue of conducting surveillance there not only by Russian peacekeepers but also by other international formats," said Simonyan.
