The deputies suggest not calling on the Russian Federation but demanding i.

MPs of the NA "Civil Contract" faction propose to use the phrase "we demand" instead of "we call" in the part of the draft NA statement on the situation around Artsakh, addressed to the Russian Federation.

"I think it would be right for us not to call, but to demand from the Russian Federation to fulfill its responsibilities, and not to call, but to ask the Western partners to participate," said deputy Vigen Khachatryan.

KP faction MP Arsen Torosyan also made a similar proposal, saying that it is wrong to call on the Russian Federation and the West simultaneously, considering the extent of responsibility of each, "There are different degrees of responsibility because of the agreements made."

KP faction leader Hayk Konjoryan responded that there is indeed an expectation among the public that the Russian peacekeeping contingent will take all measures to settle the situation in the Lachin Corridor and open the corridor. According to him, Azerbaijan is carrying out an operation to devalue and discredit the Russian peacekeeping force. At the same time, Konjoryan mentioned that they would discuss these proposals.
