The President highly appreciated Ambassador Tracy's diplomatic service in Armenia
Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, received the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia, Lynn Tracy, on the occasion of completing the diplomatic mission in our country.
President Khachaturyan highly appreciated Ambassador Tracy's diplomatic service in Armenia and thanked her for her efforts to develop and strengthen Armenian-American relations.
In his speech, President Khachaturyan emphasized, in particular, the fact that the ambassador's diplomatic mission coincided with a difficult period for Armenia. In this regard, he noted the importance of the extensive work done by Ambassador Tracy on the diplomatic front and from the point of view of public perceptions.
Ambassador Tracy thanked the president for the reception, and she noted that she will fondly remember the years of her diplomatic service in Armenia and will follow as much as possible the implementation of the reforms started during this period, particularly in the judicial system.
At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain working contact as much as possible.
President Khachaturian wished success to Lynn Tracy in her future activities.
