At the initiative of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, a tripartite meeting was held in Moscow on December 8, with the participation of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, and the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev.
Anna Vardapetyan thanked the Russian partner for the efforts invested in initiating a meeting in such a format. She expressed hope that this meeting will provide an opportunity to record concrete results and serve as the 8-point tripartite declaration signed by the leaders of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Armenia, and the Republic of Azerbaijan on November 9, 2020. to the complete fulfillment of the humanitarian requirements of paragraph 3.
Anna Vardapetyan emphasized that the humanitarian requirements stipulated by the tripartite declaration are a priority for Armenia, while Azerbaijan still needs to fulfill them. In this context, Vardapetyan noted that the Republic of Armenia has fully fulfilled the requirements of Clause 8, which stipulates the principle of "All for all." "Two years after the declaration was signed, Armenian prisoners of war are still being held in the Republic of Azerbaijan. This behavior of Azerbaijan in no way contributes to the realization of the goals of the tripartite declaration," Anna Vardapetyan stressed.
During the meeting, the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Vardapetyan, also referred to the agreements reached during the previous meetings held in this format with the participation of the Prosecutor Generals of the three countries, noting that Armenia has fulfilled all the arrangements.
Anna Vardapetyan once again thanked the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia. She emphasized that Armenia expects concrete results in implementing point 8 of the tripartite declaration.
