"The Russian Federation and the EU remain the two most important mediators." Grigoryan

The interlocutor of Radar Armenia is political scientist Tigran Grigoryan.

-Yesterday, RA Foreign Minister announced that it is hardly possible to have a peace agreement by the end of the year; at the same time, according to him, the negotiations are actively going on. How long do you think these negotiations will drag on?

- Of course, predicting something related to deadlines is a thankless task. And it is difficult to say how the negotiations will go because the parties always come to an agreement in principle at some point, but, all the same, new obstacles arise in the future. So I will refrain from commenting on this.

-Azerbaijan announced the transfer of the third package of proposals. Now the response of the Armenian side is expected. Because these proposals were transmitted through Moscow, can the Russian Federation maintain the moderator role?

- Russia has never lost the moderator role, at least one of the moderators. Russia and the EU continue to be the two most essential mediators.

- The head of the Foreign Ministry also did not rule out the possibility of another meeting with the leadership of Azerbaijan before the end of the year. Against the background of these announcements, Toivo Klaar arrives in Armenia. How will you interpret it?

- There was a similar statement by Peskov regarding the possible reprimand, that they are ready to organize it. We can expect a meeting to occur before the year's end. And there is no available information about Klaar's visit, so that I will refrain from speculation.
