On December 7, the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Republic of Armenia, Smail Benamara (residence: Moscow), handed over a copy of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan.
The Deputy Minister congratulated Ambassador Benamara on his appointment and wished him success and practical work for developing and expanding relations between Armenia and Algeria.
Expressing gratitude for the good wishes, the ambassador said his willingness to make efforts to form and develop mutually beneficial Armenian-Algerian cooperation in various fields.
