On December 1, within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Forum in Lodz, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, had a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Tanya Fajon.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Slovenia discussed several issues on the bilateral agenda. They expressed their willingness to take active steps to realize the existing potential in Armenian-Slovenian relations more effectively. The parties exchanged ideas on the deepening of cooperation on international platforms.
A reference was made to issues of mutual interest on the international and regional agenda. In this context, Ararat Mirzoyan presented to his colleague the situation created in the region due to Azerbaijan's conservative stance and aggressive actions; he referred to the approaches of the Armenian side regarding establishing stability and security in the South Caucasus.
Issues related to the activities of the EU observation mission in Armenia were also on the agenda of the meeting.
