The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia emphasized that targeted and principled evaluations can contribute to establishing stability in the South Caucasus.

On December 1, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Vobke Hoekstra, within the framework of the 29th OSCE Ministerial Forum.

The interlocutors highly appreciated the dynamically developing Armenian-Dutch relations. They expressed readiness to take consistent steps to expand mutually beneficial cooperation further to implement the agreements reached during Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to the Netherlands.

Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the close cooperation established with the Netherlands in promoting the agenda of democratic reforms in Armenia. In developing relations between the two countries, the role of parliamentary diplomacy was highlighted.

Referring to the situation created as a result of the Azerbaijani aggression against the sovereignty of Armenia on September 13-14, Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the inadmissibility of Azerbaijan's policy of using force and the threat of force to achieve its own ideological goals. In this context, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia emphasized that the targeted and moral evaluations of the international community can contribute to establishing stability in the South Caucasus.

Minister Mirzoyan presented to his colleague the latest developments in regulating Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and the approaches of the Armenian side regarding the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The parties also exchanged views on the activities of the EU observation mission in Armenia, expressing their belief that it plays a positive role in establishing stable peace in the region.
