I want to highlight Romania's efforts within the framework of the EU to restore regional peace and stability. Prime Minister
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ionel Ciucă on the occasion of the national holiday. The message states:
"Your Excellency,
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, please accept my warm congratulations on the National Day of Romania, Unification Day, which was a turning point for your country, opening a new page in the recent history of Romania.
Historically formed friendship and mutual respect between our two peoples are a solid foundation for the further strengthening and deepening bilateral cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats, including within the scope of opportunities provided by the RA-EU Comprehensive and Extended Partnership Agreement. In that context, we expect the activation of joint work in economics and several other fields.
I also emphasize the efforts made by Romania within the framework of the EU, which are aimed at restoring regional peace and stability while expecting positive results.
