The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia emphasized the necessity of withdrawing the Azerbaijani armed forces

On November 30, within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Forum in Lodz, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Lipavsky.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to developing Armenian-Czech cooperation on bilateral and multilateral platforms. The parties expressed satisfaction with the regularly held consultations between the foreign departments of the two countries. They emphasized the importance of organizing high-level mutual visits regarding political dialogue activation.

Minister Mirzoyan presented to his Czech counterpart the latest developments in the process of the Armenia-Azerbaijan relations settlement, the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.

Referring to the consequences of Azerbaijan's aggression against the territorial integrity of Armenia on September 13-14, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia emphasized the imperative of the unconditional withdrawal of Azerbaijani armed forces from the sovereign territory of Armenia. The unacceptability of the use of power or the threat of force and non-constructive approaches by Azerbaijan was emphasized.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Yan Lipovsky also exchanged thoughts on the EU observation mission in Armenia. Minister Mirzoyan highly appreciated the role of the EU mission in ensuring stability.
