Armenia does not consider the negotiation process with Azerbaijan to be a dead end

Eduard Aghajanyan, chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, does not consider the negotiation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan to be a dead end.

Referring to Ilham Aliyev's decision to cancel the December 7 meeting with RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a press conference, Aghajanyan said: "We do not consider that the situation is a dead end. All we have recorded is that there was a clear agreement, and the Republic of Armenia did not back down from that agreement. Azerbaijan's position and practices are not new from this point of view. In other cases, the Azerbaijani side refused to attend the meetings according to the initial agreement, which is not a positive process at all. Still, we do not consider the process a dead end."
