US Embassy team supports gender-based violence prevention and response programs in Armenia (PHOTOS)
The US Embassy in RA informs that on November 25, representatives of the embassy, together with RA Human Rights Defender Kristine Grigoryan and other figures of the state and civil society, participated in the conference dedicated to gender violence organized by the initiative of the Human Rights Defender and with the support of the European Union and the United Nations Population Fund. at the launch of the 16-day annual international campaign against gender-based violence activism.
The Embassy team is happy to support the work of the Women's Rights Council and its partners, as well as gender-based violence prevention and response programs in Armenia.
We are grateful to the activists who fight against gender-based violence and make efforts to promote democracy, protect human rights and ensure gender equality and justice.
