The rapprochement of relations with Armenia was emphasized.

You are in Armenia during a challenging period for us. Armenia is facing regional challenges, welcoming the members of the Greek Parliament, said the Chairman of the Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan.

The meeting with members of the Greek Parliament Periklis Mantas, Anastasios Bardzokas, and Konstantinos Zachariadis took place on November 28. It was attended by Sona Ghazaryan and Arsen Torosyan, members of the Standing Committee on European Integration.

Arman Yeghoyan presented the situation in Armenia and Artsakh, referred to the border tension, and discussed the normalization process of Armenia-Turkey relations. He emphasized developing close and effective ties in difficult geopolitical times.

Periklis Mantas thanked for the warm reception and highlighted the importance of closer relations with Armenia.

Members of the Greek Parliament will participate in the closing ceremony of the Twinning project "Strengthening the capacity of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia for further support for the supervision and enforcement of the GCC." The chairman of the commission, evaluating the works carried out within the framework of the project, expressed hope that the cooperation will be continuous. Issues related to economic and business ties were also discussed.
